Biography
It would be my pleasure to put my extensive Reiki experience to work for you. Since 2004 I have trained with several wonderful Reiki Masters in the Usui Shiki Ryoho System System of Natural Healing. I belong to The International Center for Reiki Training.(ICRT) as a Reiki Affiliate Member and have agreed to abide by their code of ethics.
My Goal is to create community awareness of the benefits of Reiki in partnership with conventional medicine and complementary modalities by creating a sense of well-being to all who seek wholeness in a compassionate environment.
Working along side other Reiki practitioners at Reiki shares and gatherings nationwide is important to me. It creates a wonderful educational support system.
I have attended The 27th Northwest Reiki Gathering in Portland. Enjoy taking classes with Pamela Miles, author of "Reiki, A Comprehensive Guide", who is a pioneer in bringing Reiki into the mainstream medical practice.
I enjoy community Reiki events to help raise funds for local organizations.
Participated in a Free Reiki event at Howard County Hospital for Nurses Week.
I completed my training in 2012 as a Gilchrist Hospice Volunteer and am providing support/companionship to those who are part of this wonderful program in the Howard County area. I am lucky to be able to integrate Reiki into their program.
I also have been at Howard Community College in the Wellness Center since 2012 offering the students Free Reiki and educating them on the importance of stress relief.Special Student Rates are available for personal sessions. Learn what Reiki can do for you on my Events Page.
